Perfume seller and wise parrot
Once upon a time, there was a man who sold perfumes. He had a special parrot. The parrot went with him everywhere he went. The parrot met people who spoke different languages and learnt many languages. The parrot was wise and helped the perfume seller to communicate with other traders
One day, the perfume seller came across a group of flower merchants. He needed flowers for making perfumes. The parrot helped him negotiate a good price for the flowers. The flower merchants were impressed by the bird's intelligence and asked the perfume seller where he got such a clever parrot from. The seller replied that the parrot had learned from other merchants.
One day, a bald-headed man came to the shop. Suddenly, the parrot asked the man, "How many bottles of perfume did you break?" Everyone in the shop smiled at the parrot's mistake in confusing baldness caused by age with the loss of its own feathers due to the blow.
The moral of the story is that we can learn and grow from those around us, even if they are our rivals or competitors. The story also teaches us not to react out of anger. The man could rebuild his business empire again, But couldn't make the parrot healthy again.
